Additional Opportunities for Children and Families
Learning Keystones Preschool is exploring enrichment opportunities designed to complement early learning, strengthen developmental skills, and help families find additional support.
Our goal is to develop activities that respond to the interests and needs of local families while creating opportunities for children to practice skills in supportive, structured environments.
The following programs are under consideration. Specific offerings, schedules, fees, eligibility, and staffing will be determined as planning progresses.
Social Skills and Peer Interaction
Small-group activities may provide opportunities for children to practice taking turns, sharing, participating in group activities, communicating with peers, and building positive social connections. Activities would be designed around children's developmental levels and the skills they are ready to practice.
Communication and Developmental Enrichment
Additional learning sessions may focus on functional communication, early learning, problem-solving, independence, and other foundational developmental skills.
Activities and group sizes would depend on the program format and children's individual support needs.
Parent Education and Family Workshops
Families often benefit from practical information they can use at home and in the community.
Potential workshops may address positive behavior support, communication strategies, daily routines, transitions, independence, and preparing children for school.
Small-Group Learning Activities
Additional enrichment may include hands-on learning, structured play, early literacy and numeracy activities, sensory-informed experiences, and opportunities to practice classroom-readiness skills.
Individualized Support Opportunities
We are also exploring whether certain individualized developmental or behavioral support services may be appropriate for families seeking additional assistance.
Any clinical or therapeutic services would be offered only under the applicable professional, licensing, clinical, and payer requirements.
